Putting spring into my table tops

I put away all the silver that was on the sideboard and started looking for something to replace it. I took the opportunity to display my "Dimity Rose" soup tureen. And it went from there.

But I didn't really like the colour of the Limoges tureens with the Royal Albert white colour. So, I pulled out more Dimity Rose.

Better, but now I thought there was too much pink, so I replaced the sugar and cream with a glass fruit bowl.

I'm now content with it. My husband really likes it, so I'll leave it as is for the season. :) Suddenly, though, the red roses looked way too bright. I found a couple of  beautiful flowers that blend in so much better.

As I've told you before Dimity Rose is our wedding china and it was such a nice surprise to see your pieces displayed so wonderfully! I don't have any soup tureens but do have one of those small round platters. Unfortunately, my teapot got a big crack in it quite a few years ago, I can still use it decoratively but never for tea again!

Thanks everyone. Your feedback is very important to me in my struggles. :) A person would never know how difficult blogging is by reading all the wonderful posts. I started with Dining Delight's blog and even her first one was wonderful!

I'm sorry to hear about your teapot, DD. How did that happen?

Wonderful buffet, and I like what's on it too. You did a nice job with your photo layout of your tea cups too. What a great collection.
